FROM CASTOS TO VULTURE BAY

After so much Upwind motoring shearwater lived up to her name by skimming the waves under Spinnaker all day heading se in a 15 knot wind on the beam.

Flying the kite.

We’ve had this cut as an asymmetric Spinnaker . So we can sail with a side wind. One person can drop it !

At vulture bay we anchored in strong wind off the cliff. No dragging as we had 40 m of chain out in 3m of depth.

  • Sarah looks for the vulture who did not show up. But a flock of terns made up for it, diving and fishing.
